    Guys and Dolls, with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, is a classic Broadway musical based on Damon Runyon's stories about New York City gamblers and missionaries, featuring iconic songs like "Luck Be a Lady" and "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat". The plot centers on gambler Sky Masterson's bet to woo missionary Sarah Brown, while fellow hustler Nathan Detroit tries to find a new location for his floating crap game, leading to a mix of high-stakes gambling and romance. The show premiered in 1950, won the Tony Award for Best Musical, and has had numerous successful revivals and a popular film adaptation.
